The Talea Giro Plus gives you complete control over your espresso, letting you customize your grind setting, liquid volume, pre-infusion(pre-brewing), and coffee strength with the turn of a dial or a press of a button. The Talea Giro Plus features a Rapid Steam system which means that you never have to wait between brewing coffee and steaming milk.
When it comes to making cappuccinos and lattes, the Talea Giro Plus has a stainless steel steam wand that will let you steam and froth with ease. It also comes with a Pannarello attachment that will perfectly distribute steam in your pitcher for ideal froth. The Talea Giro is also compatible with the Saeco Milk Island, an automatic frothing device that connects to your coffee machine.
Automatic Coffee Center

Whether you chose to get the automatic Milk Island or stick with the manual steam wand, you’ll have the capability to make cappuccinos, lattes, straight espresso shots, macchiatos, and more with ease.
Simple Brewing Controls
The control panel on the front of the Talea Giro makes programming all aspects of your coffee brewing a breeze. Start by setting the size of your coffee using the coffee volume adjustment knob by turning it all the way to the left for a single shot espresso, all the way to the right for a long coffee, and anywhere in-between. Next, choose the size of the coffee dose using the aroma button that features 3 coffee bean icons. Press once for a mild aroma, twice for medium aroma, and 3 times for strong—the machine will automatically adjust the amount of coffee dosed to match your settings. Then, press the brew button once for one coffee, or twice for two coffees.
Saeco Brewing System
Everyone has their own preferences when it comes to espresso, so accommodating your tastes and the tastes of your guests can be a challenge with some machines. However, Saeco had entertaining in mind when they designed the Talea Giro Plus 2. To change the strength of your coffee at any time during the brewing process, the Talea Giro Plus 2 features the Saeco Brewing System. Controlled by a dial right above the coffee dispensing spout, the SBS can be set anywhere from mild to strong.
Stainless Steel Boiler with Rapid Steam
To keep up with busy dinner parties, hectic mornings, or just when you need a cappuccino ASAP, the Talea Giro Plus has a fast-heating stainless steel boiler and a Rapid Steam system. This lets you go right from brewing to steaming with no waiting in-between, so delicious milk based coffee's are only a few moments away.
Touch Lift Drip Tray
To accommodate cups of all sizes—from small espresso shot glasses to tall latte mugs—the Saeco Talea Giro Plus 2 has a motorized drip tray that will move the tray up or down with ease. Just lightly press the button on the top of the drip tray to move it down, or press the button on the bottom to move it up. When the tray has reached your desired height, just let go and the tray will stop. The drip tray is also removable, making cleaning simple and easy.
Low-Noise Ceramic Burr Grinder
For fine, consistent grinding without the racket, the Saeco Talea Giro Plus has a low-noise ceramic burr grinder. Durable, flat ceramic burrs create an even grind for excellent coffee extraction. Additionally Saeco has put a safety feature in place that will automatically stop the grinder when you run out of beans, ensuring no damage will be done to the burrs. You can also choose your fineness setting to fine, medium, or coarse by turning a knob in the bean hopper.
Steam Wand with Pannarello Attachment
For total control over steaming and frothing your milk, the Saeco Talea Giro Plus 2 has a stainless steel steam wand with a Pannarello attachment. This attachment dispenses steam in 3 directions, giving you the ideal, creamy frothed milk for cappuccinos and steamed milk for lattes. Steam output is controlled by a knob on the top of the machine that operates with a simple turn.
The Saeco Talea Giro Plus 2 is also compatible with the Saeco Milk Island. The Milk Island can be purchased separately to automatically froth milk for cappuccinos and lattes.
Hot Water
The steam wand on the Talea Giro Plus doubles as a hot water dispenser. To dispense water for hot chocolate or tea simply press the hot water button on the right side of the control panel, wait for the temperature light to turn on, and then turn the steam knob to the water icon.
Saeco Aqua Prima Water Filter
Even if you’re using the best espresso beans in the world, the taste of your espresso will only taste as good as your water. The Saeco Talea Giro Plus 2 comes with an Aqua Prima water filter to ensure only the best water goes into your espresso shots, removing particles and unpleasant chemicals from your water. This filter also helps to prevent scale build-up in your machine and should be replaced every 3 months or so, depending on your coffee machines volume of use.
Removable Water Reservoir
To make refilling and cleaning a simple process, the Talea Giro Plus comes with a removable 1.7 L water reservoir. This reservoir slides seamlessly into the side of your coffee machine.
Bypass doser
One of the significant benefits of the Talea Giro Plus is the by-pass doser. This allows the user to use 7g of pre ground coffee, or any other blend of coffee without having to empty out their existing beans. The true value of this feature comes when entertaining guests who may only drink decaf, or for a couple who like different coffee blends.

The Saeco Talea Giro Plus comes with an Aqua Prima water filter, a detailed user’s manual, cleaning brush, and grinder adjustment key.
