Saeco Descaling solution is used for descaling your coffee machine. (250 ml bottle)
It can be used on any coffee machine. No matter what machine you own, regular cleaning and descaling will increase the life of your coffee machine, preventing costly breakdowns and help you make great coffee. 50ml of Saeco Descaling solution is suitable for one descale cycle and replaces other brands of liquids, powders or descale tablets.
Procedures for using descaling solution:
- Empty your machine's water reservoir, pour in 1 litre of water mixed with 50ml of descaling solution. Place an empty vessel underneath the coffee outlet to capture waste (attach handle to machine where applicable).
- Turn machine on and begin the brew cycle. Turn the brew cycle on and off 3/4 times during this process and allow the descaling solution to sit for 10/15 seconds each time. If you have a steam wand or milk frothing device, allow the descaler to run through it for approx 30 seconds. Discard descaling solution once it has run through the machine. - Repeat steps 1&2 twice with fresh water, until the water runs clear of color and free of foam.
