If using the standard 7g of coffee beans, you can expect to make about 140 cups of coffee out of a 1 kg bag.

How long does coffee last?

Thanks to our huge turnover we do not stock more than 4 weeks worth of coffee, ensuring that you receive the freshed coffee possible. In general coffee beans last for about 12 months with no degradation in quality if stored correctly. To store coffee correctly place it in an airtight container at room temperature. DO NOT refrigerate your coffee beans as it can cause condensation which can adversely affect the taste of your coffee.

How often should I get  my coffee machine serviced?

We recommend that you service your coffee machine every 6 months or after 8kgs of coffee is used.

How do I know when my coffee machine needs to be descaled?

The Coffee machine usually displays  a message that reads "decalcifying" when it needs to be descaled.
However, the decalcifying of your coffee machine is done when you get it serviced, and should so be done with the  same frequency of a full service.

How much does it cost to service my coffee machine?

A service of your coffee machine costs $120.00 but is FREE of charge after purchasing 8kgs of coffee.

How long is the warranty on a new coffee machine?

There is a 2 year warranty on all new Saeco coffee machines, Isomac coffee machines come with a 1 year warranty and all commercial coffee machines including those from Saeco, San Marino, Wega and Zagato come with a 1 year parts only warranty.

What is the best way to keep my coffee beans fresh?

The number one tip for keeping your coffee fresher is to only grind the coffee when you need it, as ground coffee quickly loses its essential oils if not stored correctly. By grinding your coffee fresh each time you are helping ensure that your coffee tastes as good as possible. With Coffee beans there are a number of factors which you have to consider when looking at ensuring you have the freshed coffee beans possible. Firstly, you should avoid exposing your coffee beans to these four elements, 1. Moisture 2.Heat 3.Air 4.Light. It is best to store your coffee beans in an Airtight container, or if possible, a vacuum canister in a cool and shady part of your kitchen.

I Poured Water into the grinder on my Saeco/Gaggia coffee machine, what should i do?

If you or a family member of yours has poured water into the grinder on your Saeco or Gaggia coffee coffee machine then take your coffee machine into an authorized service centre as soon as possible, do not attempt to clean it out by yourself and do not use your coffee machine until it has been seen to by a authorized service technician.

Thanks to the staff at Seattle Coffee Gear for this video, it shows you how much damage can be caused by putting a small amount of water into your grinder.
