Troubleshooting your coffee machine.

VENTILATE 
If your Saeco coffee machine displays "ventilate", run hot water through the boiler by placing a cup under the steam/hot water nozzle until the message disappears.

EMPTY DREG DRAW
If your coffee machine is asking you to empty the dreg draw, remove the coffee container and empty it if necessary and make sure the display reads dreg draw missing. Leave the dreg draw out for about 30 seconds and put it back into place. The message should now disappear.


DECALCIFYING/DESCALE
You can still use the coffee machine
for a few days even while it is still displaying decalcify or descale message. However, it is best to descale your coffee machine as soon as possible. You can do that by purchasing the Saeco descaling solution from us or by booking a service for your coffee machine, which is performed by our expert technicians. Descaling your coffee machine is critical as the build up of limescale can reduce water flow, reduce capacity of the boiler and greatly restrict the transfer of heat.
